At Pattern Sample Sew we are passionate about pattern making and sewing. We are pleased to offer one-on-one lessons to help you to build your skills.
Who takes lessons? Some examples: designers (both design school graduates and self-taught designers) looking to improve their knowledge base & skill set in order to better understand the manufacturing process; long-term home-sewers keen to advance their sewing techniques; those who want to learn how to make patterns either for their personal use or for commercial purposes; beginners with a passion.
Topics covered depend on the learner and might include: basic block pattern drafting; preparing patterns for manufacturing; sewing with knits; mastering shoulders; etc. Special projects will be considered.
Private lessons are available:
- pattern making (flat-pattern drafting)
- advanced sewing
- serious beginners will be considered
